About the process of the project: 

For this project I decided to recreate the iconic character of the POLAR brand of products ,bread flour whose packaging with a female figure inspired by the portuguese singer Carmen Miranda, was created by the bulgarian Marko Markoff.

For the redesign I used a more cartoon and stylized style, creating a resemblance also with part of the style defined by Disney Pixar in their animated films in 3D, giving the character easy to use features and a more stylized look., giving the character friendlier and softer facial features. 

About the work process:

 

This character was modeled from 0 starting only from a sphere in zbrush taking as a base the general anatomical measures of human standard and refining certain areas to give it a more cartoon look.

 

A methodology was generated by geometry projection method with the software
Wrap4dy software to adapt a base mesh with a better arrangement of loops so that the deformations are correct.

 

For the materials were created based on PBR texturing generated in Substance
3D Painter leaving realistic finishes and with a great quality of detail.

 

For the rigging process we used Blender's Riggify tool which allowed us to create a rig quite adapted to the character and we completed with some minor adjustments in the weights of some sections.
